Futuristic Romance

Baum und Pferdgarten bring you a heightened level of the here and now; stimulating the senses with pixelized prints and contrasts of tailored, Edwardian romance. There are no shortage of bold statements that are clearly illustrated by embellished head pieces and silhouettes that both embrace the body and exaggerate proportions.

The contrasts of the collection are heavily expressed through the fabrics and textures. Ink black on striated silk emulate the elasticity of leathery latex. The visual element of the naturally hard reptilian texture is displayed in an opposing role on soft chiffons and tailored pieces that perfectly cinch the waist. One piece jerseys are exaggerated in a bold primitive print yet drape effortlessly while chiffon rosettes and intricate woven details resembling lacework are pronounced in the blouses.

The collection speaks through muted tones wildly influenced by post apocalyptic nuances and the perennial, romantic force of nature. Nudes are shown in a new level of sincerity, almost glowing from within and violets are muted against a blurred collection of dusky digitalized flowers and foliage. Whether in patterns or single hued; blacks are darker than an eclipse, greens mesh with plums and terra-cotta, and metallic sheen energizes greys and blacks.
